@bassecool Your seeds have come and disspeared, then reappeared then gone again. I have no idea what is happening, but the site is 80% dead and that is a problem for me and the entire community.
UPDATE
- Fixed: data exchange where uploaded or last exchange is 0B
- Added: passkey fallback if decrypted token is malformed
This fixes 2 announce bugs that were not previously tested and resolved.

@bassecool I'm much more focused on the new P2P app. Reaching BETA10 now, it is ready for real-time use. Sharing content will be very easy, and the metafiles are very easy to open/create.
Screenshots (ZIP):
https://www.switch-torrents.com/client/2024/SwitchShare-BETA10-Screens.zip
Very fast and very low in memory.
3.2MB app, and 5MB of memory.
Written in pure C. No .NET or MSVCRT requirements, no Python no nonsense. This makes a high performance file sharing application without compromise that works on all versions of NT (Windows 2000 - Windows 11).

@bassecool I have no idea. Its touch-and-go. But I will be uploading the first SWT of a new Switch game release. The upload page has supported this format since last November.
Until I can figure out what the is going on with Bittorrent and our tracker, this is the format I will be uploading. It is up to the users to use the app, and download their content.
Everything is encrypted over the network, so rest assured - no need for a VPN!

I have added SWT support (meta files) alongside torrents. I've also added file/folder listing support on torrent page for the new format.
I'll be focusing on these for my next several uploads. Download process is the same as say, uTorrent client.
NOTE:
SWT metafiles are our custom format for the SwitchShare client.
They have absolutely no relation to Bittorrent or torrent files whatsoever.

@Community
Is anyone able to test the upload? Client has been running for a week, only 1 peer connection seen. We need testers!

@bassecool Upload doesn't work, tried to create one new and gets stuck at "Metadata created. Importing files" at 0%.
Btw, important point, in the login screen the password field is clear text, please try to make it masked with starts or dots. You know, not anyone should see that from behind you.

@Lucicu
hey sorry for the late reply. I've invested much of my time for the new app, but testing is crucial. I've tested several switch games, downloaded them back and forth and it works fine on my end.
The bug you note, is that from the create window? Basically, it creates the .swt metafile (that you save) and then it copies the content to the /Sharing folder.
Then you hit "Resync" button on main window, or just relaunch the app and it automatically sync's the content. Then you just upload or share the .swt file, and just leave your client running as if your seeding a file on a Bittorrent client (or no one can connect to you).
To bypass this bug for now, just copy all the folders or files to /Sharing and hit Resync or relaunch.
If you have the .swt file, and the content failed to copy on its own, just copy manually like I said and upload the .swt file here or share with others who have the same client.
I'm pushing another update for the app today.
- Added file resumption support
- Added upload speed
- Several bug fixes in library context menu
* Will mask password field in login window, thanks @Lucicu *
Its much easier just logging into your Switch-Torrents account from
File > Sign In
Or you need to make sure you generated an account, but you wont get your avatar like you do if you sign in from File menu.
You should expect to see this on launch:
